Intro to Latinx Studies

  We are meeting today at 4pm in the lobby of the Newark Public Library , 5 Washington Street.   We are visiting the Puerto Rican Community Archives, it is a collection of materials from the Puerto Rican community in Newark and New Jersey. I want you to think about how we make knowledge. Where do people get the information they use to write the books we read, the videos we watch or the podcasts we listen to? Review your CLOSE UP questions, so you have some questions to ask the librarian and archivist on your visit.
